Poem- The Sandy Shore

The Sandy Shore

I walked along the pretty beach,

The sand was soft beneath my feet;

The waves crashed against the shore,

Their thunderous sound so strong and sure;

As the wind began to blow so true,

The fishy smell came blowing through;

A seagull flew across the light blue sky,

Where the sun shone down so warm and bright;

I looked as far as my eyes could see,

The massive sky meeting shining sea;

I walked along in awe of the beauty,

Reminded of the LORD’s great power and glory.
